Found this in the archives unprocessed from 2012.  Experiments in the Eastern Sierra.  Much thanks!

Not sure, Aaron.  Sort of makes it feel like the auto-focus in my eyes is broken.  It's not recognizable as blurred and so my eyes think they should be able to focus . . . and can't, though it feels like they keep trying.  I guess in some ways it's a new sensation when it comes to viewing a photo.  Just not sure yet how much I like this feeling.

Aaron, I am of a similar opinion to Tony. This one gives me kind of a seasick feeling when viewing it.  Most in-camera blurs have a painterly feeling, this one is more of an uncomfortable feeling for me.

Good to see the experiments keep coming.  As with most of my experiments, they don’t always pan out. This one makes me dizzy, but I do admire ICM attempt.   Some folks with seizure disorders might freak out viewing this one.

While I would like some little area to be in focus, I think it gives the feel of the shimmering aspen leaves in the wind.

Ha.  Thanks all.  After posting I had the same reaction actually.  Close...will have to go back and see if I have other versions ;)

The colors and shapes make for a very nicely glowing abstract Aaron.  The diagonal of the trunks looks good.  The repeated sharp patterns in the larger view feel like a distraction.  I wonder how some (possibly significant) blurring would look.

AF, the multiplicity is too nervous for me.

Yeah, I agree with Tony, too.  Kinda makes my eyes hurt.  I think a slight blur of the original image would be lovely, as the comp amd colors in it are lovely, it looks like.  That diagonal line of tree trunks is pretty nice.....
