Cholla and Chocolate

Kofa National Wildlife is an endless playground of ruggest low mountains and desert. Our group of photographers spent part of the day exploring other canyons before returning to our Kofa Queen camp. With a storm coming in, we were uncertain about the sunsets. As the sun cleared the bank of clouds over the Chocolate Mountains, it cast strong backlight onto the ocotillo and cholla across the desert. I set the 50mm lens low to capture this scene.
