A beautiful late September day in the San Juans. Looking up the hill is Commodore Gulch with the talus hill of Barstow Mine easily seen near the center of the image. Just at the crest is an overlook at Imogene Pass. I was headed up toward the trailhead to American Girl Mine and Corkscrew Table when I found this hillside to photograph the surrounding canyon.
