With the moon in the backround, the Jefferson County Clocktower is brightly lit by the morning sun. Seattle architect W.A. Ritchie designed the Jefferson County clocktower that was installed at the courthouse in 1892, one year after the completion of the Romanesque style courthouse. Clocktower stands just over 124 feet and rings every hour of the day.
