Cone flowers reveal their beauty surrounded by fields of lavender. Also known as Echininacea Purpurea, these flowers were found in the lavender (lavandula)fields near Sequim, Washington during Sequim's popular Lavender Festival in July. Sequim is on the North Olympic Peninsula and is also know for its Irrigation Festival, the oldest festival in Western Washington.
